  • Chicken breast-1 pound
  • Tomato -12 (or)
  • Crushed tomato can-28 oz
  • Sour cream -1tbsp
  • Salted cashew -30
  • Chilli powder-1 tsp
  • Orange food color-2 pinch
  • Butter-2 stick
  • Cloves-2
  • Cinnamon-1 stick(2 inch)
  • Whipping cream -3-4cups
  • Lime juice-2tbsp
  • Cilantor leaves for garnish
  • Oil
  • Salt to taste
  1. To start, puree the tomatoes in the blender for fresh tomatoes or just go for crushed can tomatoes and grind the cashew nuts in the blender with little water to make a smooth paste.
  2. Heat a heavy bottom non stick pot with 1 stick butter and seasonning it with cloves & cinnamon.
  3. Pour the tomato puree & cashew paste together,stir in medium flame.Stir well till the oil separates on the sides.
  4. Then add chilli powder,salt,orange food color,sour cream & lime juice,add about 1/2 stick butter.Mix well.
  5. Finally,add whipping cream and give it a good mix.Cover and leave it in low flame for 5 minutes.
  6. While it is cooking,cut the chicken breast in strips and saute it golden brown.
  7. Remove the pot of mixture from heat and add the chicken strips directly in the mixture.
  8. Garnish it with some chopped cilantor.Serve hot with roti,naan,basmati rice...etc
