| Ingredients |
- Maida flour-1/4kg(ounce)
- Gram dhal-1/4kg(8 ounce)
- Jaggery-100 grams
- Shredded coconut-100 grams
- cardamon-2 pod
- oil to fry
- Salt t taste

| Methods |
- Make a soft dough with maida,warm water,oil and salt,Keep it aside for 2 hrs.
- Cook gram dhal in a pressure cooker with salt and water.
- Mix the dhal,coconut,salt,jaggery,crushed cardamon and make a smooth filling.
- Take some dough and spread it into broad chapati.
- Keep firm ball of filling in the middle and fold from all sides.
- Slowly press the filled poli to spread into a broad.(or)
- Make two tin chapati's,Spread the filling evenly in one of the chapati's cover the other chapati.
- Seal and smooth out the corners carefully.Deep fry in oil.
- serve hot with evening tiffin.
