Ingredients
  • Raw rice flour-4cups
  • Roasted gram flour-1 cup
  • Water-4cups
  • Butter-2tbsp
  • Cumin-1tsp
  • Asafoetida-2 pinch
  • Salt-1tbsp
  • Oil for frying
Methods
  1. Heat water in a heavy bottom pan with salt.
  2. When water comes to boil,add rice flour mix quick as you can and remove from stove.
  3. Add the roasted gram flour,butter ,cumin,asafoetida and mix well into soft dough.Sprinkle water if necessary.
  4. In murukku maker,prepare small murukku on a oil applied mini plates and drop them in oil, deep fry in hot oil till crisp.
  5. Drain all the excess oil from murukku,cool it down and keep in air tight container.
