  • Spinach-3bunch
  • Onion-1small(chopped)
  • Tomates-3
  • Garlic-5(finely chopped)
  • Dhania powder
  • Chillipowder
  • Garam masala
  • Ghee
  • Oil
  • Fresh cream-2tbsp
  • Salt to taste
  • Toor dhal-1cup(cooked)
  • Tofu(Extra firm )- 8 oz box
  • Tofu made from the curds of soybean milk, is primarily available in three textures: firm, extra firm and silken
  1. How to make Palak Tofu ?
  2. Here is direction to make Palak Tofu ?
  3. Heat the kadai with oil and season it with mustard,urad dhal,cumin,red pepper flakes.
  4. Saute finely cut onions and garlic till transparent.
  5. Add diced tomatoes,washed and cut spinach, dhania powder,chilli powder,garam masala and one teaspoon of ghee.Saute till the masala and spinach is cooked.
  6. Add the cooked dhal,mix them well.
  7. On the other hand , cut tofu into medium sized cube either you can deep fry it or saute tofu cubes with 2 tbsp of oil .
  8. Finally add the fried tofu or sauted Tofu cubes to the palak and add fresh cream as well.
  9. Simmer in low for about 5 minutes.
  10. Garnish Palak Tofu with sour cream on top .Serve hot with chapati,roti,Rice...
