Change and drain the water of almonds(badam) to avoid brown skin color getting in to the almonds(If you don’t change the water the badam katli will change color).
In a blender or mixee grind badam with little milk, grind into fine paste.
Heat a heavy bottom skillet,add the finely ground badam paste,sugar and saffron.
Cook the mixture add little ghee ,stirring constantly till it turns into a thick paste.
Add essence of your choice and remove from heat ,spread the mixture in well greased(ghee) plate and place the sliced almond on badam katli .
Let it cool down, and cut into diamond shape pieces.
Badam Katli (Almond Katli ) is ready to serve.
