Ingredients
  • Boneless chicken 250 gms finely chopped
  • Salted butter - 4 tbsps
  • Readymade vegetable broth powder 1/2 packet (can use veg stock and maida)
  • Spring onions 2 finely chopped
  • Garlic 3-4 crushed
  • Potatoes 4 boiled and mashed
  • Salt 1 tsp
  • Pepper powder 1/2 tsp
  • Worcestershire sauce 1/2 tsp
  • Grated cheese 1/2 cup
Methods
  1. In a kadai melt 2 tbsps butter
  2. Add garlic and onions and saute till slightly brown
  3. Add chicken, salt, pepper and cover and cook till done
  4. In a bowl mix vegetable broth powder with 1/2 cup water and mix well
  5. Add this to the cooked chicken and boil for a couple of minutes till thick
  6. In another bowl take a pinch of salt, 2 tbsps butter, potato mash, Worcestershire sauce and mix well
  7. In an oven proof cooking bowl, first place the chicken mixture
  8. Cover with a thick layer of the potato mixture
  9. Sprinkle the top with a thick layer of grated cheese
  10. Bake at 200 degrees C for 10 mins
  11. Grill for 5 mins till cheese turns golden brown
  12. Serve with toasted garlic bread
