Macaroni, Chicken & Vegetables in Barbeque Sauce

| Ingredients |
- Two cups shell macaroni
- 250 grams boneless chicken cut into one-inch size pieces
- one carrot (grated)
- one cup grated cabbage
- half capsicum (thin, long strips)
- half teaspoon oil
- two tablespoons chopped onion
- two cloves of garlic
- For the BBQ sauce:
- two cups water
- quarter cup brown sugar
- quarter cup vinegar
- one cup finely chopped onion
- two cloves of garlic
- three-fourth cup ketchup
- one & a half teaspoon black pepper
- one tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- one teaspoon paprika or red chilli powder
- two teaspoons salt

| Methods |
- Boil the macaroni in three cups chicken stock.
- When cooked, strain and keep aside in a wide plate or big bowl so it does not stick. (Remaining stock can be reused for some other dish)
- Put all ingredients of the sauce in a saucepan.
- Bring to a boil.
- Reduce heat and simmer till sauce is thick and keep aside.
- In a kadai take some oil, garlic and onion and saute till onion turns pinkish.
- Add chicken a pinch of salt.
- Stir fry for five minutes.
- Add grated/chopped vegetables and stir fry for another five minutes.
- Add boiled macaroni, two-three tablespoons BBQ sauce and heat for five minutes, stirring continuously to mix well.
