| Ingredients |
- Rava - 1 cup
- Wheat flour - 1/2 cup
- Maida (All purpose flour) - 1/2 cup
- Pepper seeds - 1 spoon
- Ginger(finely chopped) - few
- cumin seeds - 1 spoon
- onion (finely chopped) - 1/4 cup
- curry leaves (optional)
- cashewnuts (optional)
- Green chillies - 4 (finely chopped)
- grated carrot(optional)
- salt - to taste
- Oil
- Water

| Methods |
- Soak 1 cup Rava in water for 10 minutes,and add 1/2 cup wheat flour and 1/2 cup
- maida,water & salt into it & mix it well.
- Heat the oil in the kadai and add cumin seeds,pepper seeds,cashewnuts.And then add
- chopped onions,curry leaves,Green chillies & grated carrot,fry it until
- its brown,finally add these into the Rava mix. Make sure the mixture
- is very thin(thinner than the dosa batter).
- Heat the tawa (the tawa should be very hot while u are pouring the batter)
- and take one ladleful of mixture and spread on the tawa starting from the
- sides and finishing off in the middle as rava dosa cannot be spreaded
- like ordinary dosa. Drizzle oil in it.
- When it becomes golden brown turn it over.
- If the mixture becomes thick after making few dosas add little water to it.
- Serve with sambar and chutney
