Ingredients
  • Coconut- 2cups
  • Roasted Chick pea- ½ cup
  • Green chilli -5
  • Tamarind –(Blueberry size)
  • Garlic – 1(small )(Optional)
  • Coriander leaves- ½ cup
  • Water
  • Salt to taste
  • Mustard- 1 tsp
  • Urad dhal- ¼ tsp
  • Asafetida - 1 pinch
  • Curry leaves- 6
Methods
  1. In a blender (Mixee) grind coconut ,roasted chick pea,Green chilli,tamarind,garlic,coriander leaves ,salt ,water to coarse paste and season it with mustard,urad dhal, asafetida & curry leaves.
  2. Adding coriander leaves while grinding brings out good aroma for the chutney.
  3. Serve it for idli,dosa,rawa dosa …etc.
