Ingredients
  • Rajma-1cup
  • Red Chilli Powder-1 1/2tsp
  • Dhania Powder- 3 tsp
  • Turmeric Powder-1/4 tsp
  • Jeera Powder-few pinch
  • Tomatoes-5 to 6
  • Tomato Paste- 1 tsp
  • Coriander leaves
  • Water
  • Salt to Taste
  • Oil
  • Grind to Paste:
  • Red onion-1 Medium
  • Ginger-1 inch (thin piece)
  • Garlic-6 pods
Methods
  1. Soak Rajma 10 hrs before cooking.
  2. Cook for about 20 Minutes in pressure cooker with required water.
  3. Do not throw the water after boiling,use it for the gravy.
  4. Heat the pan with little oil and add the onion paste & ginger garlic paste.
  5. Fry till the oil come at the sides.
  6. Then add the chilli powder,dhania powder,turmeric powder and fry till the raw smell is off.
  7. Add the finely cut tomatoes and tomato paste.
  8. Reduce the flame till tomatoes are cooked.
  9. Add cooked rajma,salt & add enough water and cook for a another 10 mts.
  10. Sprinkle some Jeera powder and coriander leaves on it and remove from heat.
  11. Serve hot with chapatti,roti ,rice ..etc
