Ingredients
  • Coriander Seeds-3tbsp
  • Cumin seeds-1tbsp
  • Black pepper-1tsp
  • Tamarind ball-lemon size
  • Tumeric powder-1/2tsp
  • Tomato-2
  • Garlic-4
  • Corinader leaves-1 cups
  • Salt to taste
  • water
  • For seasonning
  • Mustard-1tsp
  • Asafoeida-2 pinch
  • curry leaves-8
Methods
  1. Extract the tamarind with 3 cups of water and mash the tomatoes into it.
  2. Grind coriander seeds,peppercorn,black pepper and mix into the tamarind liquid mixture.
  3. Add salt to the mixture.
  4. Heat the kadai season it with mustard,asafoetida & curry leaves.
  5. Pour the tamarind,tomato mixture into the hot kadai and simmer in very low flame till it foams up.
  6. Serve hot with rice ,dhal..etc
