| Ingredients |
- Toor dhal-1cup(uncooked)
- Chilli powder-1tsp
- Turmeric powder-1/4tsp
- Jaggery-1tsp
- Grated coconut-1tbsp
- Tamarind -1 lemon size
- Onion-1(medium)
- Tomatoes-3(medium)
- Carrot-1/4cup
- Beans-1/4cup
- Okar-1/4cup
- Eggplant-1/4cup
- Drumstick-1/4cup
- Coriander leaves
- Water-4 cups plus
- Oil -3 tbsp
- Salt to taste
- For seasoning:
- Mustard-1tsp
- Cumin-1/4tsp
- Curry leaves-8
- Red chilli-2
- Grind to powder:
- Red chilli -3
- Whole dhania-2tbsp
- Pepper-1/4 tsp
- Channa dhal -2tsp
- Cumin-1tsp
- Fenugreek-1tsp

| Methods |
- Pressure cook toor dhal with tumeric powder and little oil.
- Dry roast the red chilli,whole dhania,pepper,channa dhal,cumin,fenugreek and grind it into fine powder.
- Heat the kadai with oil and season it with mustard,cumin,and curry leaves.
- Saute onions,tomatoes,vegetable,ground powder,chilli powder,turmeric powder,tamarind extract and water,cover and cook till vegetables are soft.
- Finally,add the cooked toor dhal,jaggery and dry grated coconut,simmer for about 5 minutes and garnish it with corinaderleaves.
- Serve over hot rice,idli dosa...etc
