| Ingredients |
- Paneer – 16 ounce ( cottage cheese)
- Capsicum(green bell pepper) - 1 ( cut it into long wedges)
- Cilantro- 2 tbsp(coriander leaves)
- Onions- 1(medium)
- Tomato-3
- Tomato Puree- ½ cup
- Ginger- 2 tsp
- Red chilli -5( or chilli powder)
- Coriander Powder- 1tsp
- Kasoori Methi - ¼ tsp
- Orange Food Color- one pinch
- Bay leaf – 1
- Cloves-3
- Cinnamon- 1 inch
- Salt to taste
- Ghee – 4 tbsp
- Oil

- How to make Kadai Paneer? Cut the paneer (Cottage cheese) in desired shape, also cut the capsicum(green bell pepper)and set it aside.
- Heat Kadai with little oil to sauté red chilli, onions till transparent ,add tomatoes , tomato puree & ginger .(salt to taste)
- And then take the dried kasoori methi and add it by rubbing with your thumb and finger as when you rub it, it release more fragrance.
- Let it stand for 5 minutes in medium flame .
- Then puree the above mixture in blender without water.
- Heat a skillet with ghee season it with bay leaf , cloves and cinnamon.
- Add the ground paste and cook till the oil separates.
- Then add the paneer to the kadai , stir in low flame.
- On the other side sauté the capsicum (green bell pepper) with very little ghee in a high flame till half cooked and add to the paneer in the kadai.
- Simmer in 5 to 6 minutes stirring constantly ,then remove from heat and garnish it with cilantro( coriander leaves) .
- Kadai Paneer is ready to be served with naan ,roti,raita and all rice varities.
