Wash and clean the chicken and pat it dry in a clean kitchen towel .
In a dry cutting board cut the chicken into cubes.
In a mixing bowl add yogurt , salt ,black pepper and chicken ,let it marinate for 2 to 3hrs to minimum to make chicken nice and tender.
In a kadai heat oil ,sauté onions till transparent then add ginger garilic paste,green chilli and tomato puree . Simmer for about 5 to 10 minute depending upon the tomato puree .Then add all the dry ingredients as follows chilli powder,dhania powder,tumeric powder and garam masala .Mix till the aroma of the masala powders come out and then add the chicken broth ,bring it to boil
Finally,add the marinated chicken with yogurt (add optional food color) to the kadai and stir well in medium flame.
Simmer till the chicken cooks tender and sauce gets thicker .
Garnish chicken tikka masala with sliced lime or lemon and coriander leaves .
Serve chicken tikka masala with Roti ,Chicken Pulao & Raita etc
