Ingredients
  • **Potato 1 large (coarsely grated)
  • **Carrot 1 large (coarsely grated)
  • **Chick Pea flour 2 cups
  • **Corn flour 2tbsp
  • **Rice flour 2 tbsp
  • **Baking Powder 1 tsp
  • **Onion 1 Nos (finely chopped)
  • **Chilli Powder 1/2 tsp
  • **Cummin powder 1/2 tsp
  • **Turmeric powder 1/4 tsp
  • **Lemon juice 1 tbsp
  • **Oil for frying
  • **Salt to taste
Methods
  1. *In a bowl mix all the ingredients minus the oil.
  2. **Add enough water and make a thick batterand let it stand for 10 mins.
  3. **Heat oil in a frying pan over moderate heat and drop in the batter one tablespoon at a timeinto the oil and let it cook on both sides till golden brown.
  4. **Drain on to an absorbent paper.
  5. **Serve with Chuthey of your choice or Sauces as required.
